Health Media Network is a place-based digital screen and poster network located in U.S. healthcare facilities including hospitals, medical centers and physicians' offices.
Health Media Network offers medical practices an innovative media venue which enhances communication with patients, physicians and staff. HMN installs 32" digital screens in waiting rooms of growing practices that treat 1,000 or more patients on a monthly basis. Programming includes a wide array of health content, public service messages, practice information and commercial advertising. This is all provided as part of the MHT Mobile Practice Program. FAQs: 
Q: What kind of health-related content does HMN offer? A: HMN's digital library includes over 400 titles covering such topics as Cholesterol Screening, Diabetes, Asthma, Mammography, Lower Back Pain and many more. A select number of titles are also available in Spanish, Mandarin, Vietnamese, Russian and Polish. HMN can also upload video segments provided by facilities. Q: Is it possible to broadcast specific health videos in select waiting rooms? A: Yes. HMN's IP-addressable technology allows it to control each screen individually from the HMN studio. This allows HMN to customize the programming so that, for example, a video on Breast Cancer Screening would run in OB-GYN waiting room and any other content that may be appropriate. Q: Can we create and run our own facility messages on the HMN TV system? A: Yes, the HMN digital system is designed to allow facilities to create their own Message Boards. This is easily done through a web interface which gives you the freedom to create, edit and delete your own messages. Once your message is created and uploaded to the HMN system, it will blend into the daily programming along with the rest of the content and will appear on screens the same day. You can select the start date and end date of the messaging in order to coordinate it with your overall communications goals for your facility. Q: Can we also have our own video clips uploaded to the screens? A: Yes, HMN will upload your content to TV screens provided that the files are provided in an acceptable format. Many HMN facilities create their own Welcome Message video to run throughout the programming day. Q: Does HMN replace our existing TV or find new locations where no screens currently exist? A: Both. An HMN representative will work with you to determine the optimal combination of TV replacements and brand new locations within your facility. Your practice simply provides the electrical outlet and cable connection. Q: Do we have to manage the scheduling or programming? A: Not at all. HMN will monitor and manage the programming of all content. You will, however, have the option of uploading your own Message Boards as described above. Thus you may update your practice information and announcements as often as you wish. << Back |
